This article shares 5 common problems seen with the new big update by Microsoft IE8.  I would love to hear what you have to say. After trying an uninstall IE8 from a customers computer today I found the new wonder browser more like a virus than a utility to help me cruise around the internet on.  I believe the problem is in the fact that Microsoft created a browser that is so intertwined into the operating system that when something goes wrong you chance messing up your whole system.  If you ask me… don’t install it unless it has been proven to work.  Basically let Microsoft come up with about 3 service packs before you install it to your system.  If your looking to be a frontier beta tester, all the power to you. For the everyday not so techie user, stick to what works.  I am still not sold on IE7.  I have the old faithful IE6 on my Windows box and guess what, no issues!  You can find other problems discussed from this tech blog.

I installed IE8 and had it off my system in less than 24 hours. I did not like the way it made my most visited websites look, even in compatibility mode. Nor did I like the auto-populate feature in the address bar, that seems to be a copy over from Firefox. It was difficult to uninstall and get IE7 reinstalled, but thanks to Google, I was able to. I will take your advice and wait for Microsoft to prepare some services packs that may make IE8 smoother. I will continue to favor IE7 over IE8, and Firefox.

Internet Explorer 8 is more stable than IE 7 that is why i like it. I always experience freezing browser window in IE 7.

Internet Explorer 8 seems to be the best browser for me. I can open more than 20 windows simultaneously without crashing. IE7 and IE6 is unstable that if you open more than windows at a time it just freezes or causes the blue screen.
